In the video, Trump appeared visibly fatigued and struggled to keep his eyes open while addressing his supporters from aboard his private plane.

In the clip, Trump, with noticeable swelling around his eyes and a generally tired demeanor, attempted to convey a message of optimism to his supporters. “I’m going to Cleveland, it looks like we’re doing great in Ohio. We’re doing great in just about every state we’re in,” he said, his voice lacking its usual vigor.

Despite his weary appearance, Trump remained upbeat about his political prospects, stating, “Every poll number that’s coming in is looking good, we’re leading just about every poll on a national basis — on a swing state basis — and I’m looking forward to Thursday night.”

His message, however, seemed overshadowed by his apparent physical exhaustion. The video quickly drew significant attention on social media platforms, particularly after Ron Filipkowski, the Editor-in-Chief of Midas Touch and a vocal critic of Trump, shared the clip on X (formerly Twitter).

Filipkowski captioned the post, “Dude’s so high tonight he can’t even open his eyes,” which sparked a flurry of mocking comments and widespread speculation about Trump’s condition. The post garnered a wave of mocking comments, with many suggesting Trump looked “high as a kite.”

One user commented, “He’s top up, that Adderall does wonders for being high if you don’t need it. The more you take the more you want, it’s very addicting.” This remark alluded to long-standing rumors about Trump’s alleged use of prescription stimulants.

Another user suggested, “Watch this without sound on and imagine he is saying he is guilty of all the crimes he’s been charged with lol,” highlighting the ongoing legal issues surrounding the former president. Sarcastic comments continued to flood in, with one user speculating, “Probably getting ready to claim pink eye to back out of the debate.”

This comment hinted at potential excuses Trump might use to avoid upcoming public appearances. Another quipped, “That Fox News poll really drove him into snorting more than BC powder,” insinuating that Trump’s appearance was a reaction to unfavorable polling data.

In an interview with Newsmax, Trump claimed, “I don’t know what he’s using, but that was not … hey, he was higher than a kite, and by the way, it was the worst address I’ve ever seen.”
