Meghan Markle is reportedly struggling to find her footing without Prince Harry by her side, as she faces the harsh realities of the celebrity world. According to Dr. Max Pemberton, a medical doctor and journalist, Meghan appeared “lost and uncomfortable” during a recent solo appearance at a children’s hospital fundraiser in California.

In a candid piece for the Daily Mail, Dr. Pemberton reflected on the contrast between the couple’s recent public engagements. He observed Prince Harry’s visit to Lesotho and noted, “The old Harry – the one the public fell in love with – seemed to be back. He laughed, joked, and charmed everyone with that cheeky smile and mischievous twinkle in his eye.” Dr. Pemberton expressed how much the world and the Royal Family have lost since Harry’s departure from royal duties, saying, “What a loss that version of him is to us and the Royal Family.”

At the same time, Dr. Pemberton noted the stark difference in Meghan’s demeanor during her solo appearance. While Prince Harry seemed at ease and in his element, Meghan appeared more disconnected. “As his wife Meghan undertook an engagement thousands of miles away in California, I had feelings of sadness towards her too but for different reasons,” he admitted.

Despite the media attention and crowds surrounding her, Meghan looked “rather alone” at the event, according to the expert. Dr. Pemberton suggested that Meghan’s background as a former actress might make her acutely aware of how “brutally harsh and fickle the world of celebrity can be.”

His reflections highlight the growing professional and personal divide between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with Prince Harry seemingly thriving in his charity work, while Meghan struggles to adapt to life in the public eye without him. This divide has led to increased scrutiny on the couple’s dynamic, as they continue to pursue separate careers.
