This is decidedly weird. I can’t wait to see what the blow back and/or evasion of this one looks like. This is a crack that, if Joe Biden made it, the sky would fall. All hell would break loose. But Trump evidently thinks that this is comical. It’s a clear reference to voter fraud, which leaves open only two possibilities: 1. He wants you to believe he had the power to steal the election, which leads to you believing he will not leave after four years; 2. Or, God forbid something did happen and he just let it slip.

I do not want to entertain conspiracy theories, not now, not ever. But I do want to call your attention to the times that Trump would be on stage at a rally and say, “I have plenty of votes,” or “I have all the votes I need.” A lot of people wondered about that. Ron Filipkowski does a weekly podcast with a British journalist, Anthony Davis, and after the election Davis asked Filipkowski about those comments. Filipkowski was disinclined to get involved in any stolen election theories.

That makes perfect sense to me. We have to believe in free and fair elections. I guess it will be the Great Conundrum of the early 21st century how Trump insisted that there was widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election (the “mules” carrying hundreds of ballots, the satellites “flipping” Trump votes to Biden) yet the 2024 election was “too big to rig” as Trump told Kristen Welker shortly after the election. In all events, here’s what he said today which is getting eyebrows to raise. (Fast forward to 3:50 and spare yourself having to listen to these two bozos.)

What exactly was Trump talking about with Pennsylvania’s vote-counting machines? It is unclear. Pennsylvania doesn’t use one type of voting machine. Depending on which county a resident lives in, they may vote by voting machine, or they may vote with a paper ballot that is scanned in. Pennsylvania uses different systems to count mail-in ballots in some parts of the state that are used to count the same-day vote, and every vote in the state leaves a paper trail.

So it appears that Trump has no idea what he is talking about, but Donald Trump also loves to brag about things that he thinks he’s gotten away with, so his comments have raised speculation that he and Musk had some dirty tricks going on Pennsylvania, but a manipulation of the vote count is virtually impossible in the Keystone State due to the diversity of voting systems and comprehensive paper trail.

So what “dirty tricks” did they have going? Paying for votes? Again, I do not want to start a conspiracy theory, but if you had a situation where Musk, just as a supposition, paid adults in a household “x” amount and they filled out ballots voting for Trump and handed them to him (or one of his agents) then that would win the election, wouldn’t it?

I hope and pray that nothing like this went on but this crack is disturbing. And it does fit in with Trump’s earlier comments about having “plenty” of votes or “all the votes I need.” Maybe he did. Maybe this is Occam’s Razor time. We know that the Democrats would have won if we had only 12 more votes per precinct. Michael Moore calculated that out. Maybe Musk found a dozen or more people in each precinct and paid for their ballots.

Just speculation but you have to admit, this weird comment makes you think. And nothing that you can think along these lines is good. Wow. Maybe that’s what happened. Just like Christ was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver, maybe democracy was sold down the river for a few thousand bucks per precinct — or less. Remember, it was only the swing states that needed to be influenced, not every single precinct in America.
