Kimberly Guilfoyle takes subtle jab at ex-husband Gavin Newsom as Donald Trump slams him for LA wildfires

 Kimberly Guilfoyle took a subtle jab at her ex-husband California Governor Gavin Newsom after President-elect Donald Trump slammed him for not being able to control the Los Angeles wildfires.

Newsom has been busy for the past couple of days as he is working to protect Californians from the wildfire that’s been terrorizing the Golden State since January 7, 2025. However, Trump felt otherwise.

Donald Trump took to Truth Social and claimed that California Governor Gavin Newsom rejected a document called the Water Restoration Declaration which would have allowed gallons of water to flow into several areas of California, some of which are succumbing to the raging wildfire, according to The List.

He wrote, “Governor Gavin News**m refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way. He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt, by giving it less water (it didn’t work!), but didn’t care about the people of California. Now the ultimate price is being paid.”

Moreover, he also criticized the California governor’s response to the fire and brutally trolled him. Trump wrote, “As of this moment, Gavin News*** and his Los Angeles crew have contained exactly ZERO percent of the fire. It is burning at levels that even surpass last night. This is not Government. I can’t wait till January 20th!”

Interestingly, reposting the President-elect’s message about Gavin Newsom might be the closest Guilfoyle has come to talking to her ex-husband in a while as the two have not been on talking terms.
