Sky News’ Kamali Melbourne turned the show over to some “breaking news” about King Charles and Queen Camilla. He said to the camera: “The King and Queen are attending a church service in Scotland, where they heard a piece of music composed for their 20th wedding anniversary,” as he turned to royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills for the update.

The King and Queen are having a special piece of music be composed by Paul Mealor to mark their 20th wedding anniversary. Kamali said: “I kind of expected you still to be in Italy, but you’re back!” as Rhiannon joked she had to return because she’d eaten too much pizza and pasta, before sharing her news about the King and Queen.

She said: “You’d think they’d be putting their feet up, but they always go to church on Sunday but it is slightly unusual that they decided to take a camera along.

“It does mean something that they have invited cameras along with them to film them going to church because I think they wanted to mark it with the public.”

Rhiannon continued: “So, the way they’re marking it is a special piece of music is being played, and I’ve just been told the song is called The Weather of My Being, and apparently it comprises of three different songs, with each one reflecting an aspect of enduring love, their Majesties’ support for the environment, literature and their ongoing connection with Scotland.”

As a “breaking news” banner appeared at the bottom of the screen, viewers took to social media to ask why the report was “breaking news”. One viewer swiped: “Wow, breath taking news there guys!!” as another raged: “I so don’t bloody care!” as a third asked: “Who cares?”

However, one fan was clearly interested as they said: “It’s heartening to see King Charles back for such a meaningful occasion, especially after his health challenges. The 20th anniversary music piece sounds like a lovely tribute!” as they then questioned people’s reactions to the monarchy now.

Queen Camilla addressed their anniversary with Daily Express along with other media, as she made it clear they are determined to enjoy it. She said: “We are going to save that. Otherwise you have to rush it.”
