“Lauren Boebert Demands Elon Musk Hold Secret Service Accountable for Trump’s Latest ‘Assassination Attempt’—You Won’t Believe Her Bold Move!”
WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Lauren Boebert wanted to hold the Secret Service accountable after former president Donald Trump was targeted for a second assassination attempt. For that, she hoped to seek the help of tech giant Elon Musk.
In an interview with Newsmax on Monday, September 16, the Colorado Republican responded to the assassination plot against the MAGA leader.
Responding to the host’s question whether she had any confidence in the Secret Service’s ability to keep Trump safe, Boebert noted she was a member of the Oversight and Accountability Committee and had no such confidence, as per Raw Story.
A second assassination plot against Trump took place on September 15 while he was playing golf at his Florida golf course. The ex-president was immediately relocated to a secure location after gunshots were heard in the vicinity. Secret Service detained the would-be assassin, Ryan Routh, shortly after he fled the scene.

Lauren Boebert wants Elon Musk to hold the Secret Service accountable
Lauren Boebert voiced her criticism towards former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who resigned from the position following backlash due to the first assassination attempt against Trump during a Pennsylvania rally on July 13.
“We had Director Cheatle in the day before she resigned. She refused to answer any of our questions,” the congresswoman claimed. “She lied before us, you know, or just simply acted like she didn’t have the answers and only the FBI did when she absolutely saw the details that we were requesting from her and we have not seen any accountability since now.”
Boebert further mentioned a proposal by Trump to create a government efficiency commission led by Musk to audit the whole federal government and reiterated the real estate mogul’s idea to bring in the SpaceX CEO.
“President Trump says that he’s going to create a commission when he’s president, a commission to oversee the federal government, hold them accountable whether it’s for their spending or their actions and have, possibly, Elon Musk as the director of this commission,” she continued.
“You know, we used to call this Congress, but unfortunately, the agencies that Congress has allocated taxpayer money to and has authorized to exist refuse to answer to us.”
Boebert’s wish to bring in Musk to be a part of the commission, if Trump wins in November, came a day after the billionaire tech mogul sparked controversy by suggesting on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that neither President Joe Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris never faced an assassination attempt. Musk deleted the post later due to brutal backlash.
The Tesla CEO endorsed Trump after his narrow escape from a likely fatal bullet that injured his ear two months ago.
Internet slams Lauran Boebert for wanting Elon Musk to hold the Secret Service responsible

“She is totally missing a functioning brain,” a user said.
“She’s demonstrating her lack of a brain again,” another added.

“What was Bobert elected for? Congress has that authority, you dunce,” one user commented below the Raw Story report.
“As with most MAGA Republicans, she is clueless about what it means for someone to be accountable. And BTW, it’s been so nice not hearing from her as she’s become more irrelevant,” read a second response.
“It’s hard to decide what’s more offensive – the fascist mentality or the utter, confident stupidity,” someone else opined.
“Then why are you running to be in something you say doesn’t work? Oh that’s right 174K a year plus bennies for doing nothing. Silly me,” another user wrote.
“As opposed to a Congressional Member who has oversight of them? She is dumber than dumb,” an individual added.
“An idiot trying to enlist the help of another idiot…. lol,” read one remark.
