Prince Harry ‘cut everyone dead’ after meeting Meghan Markle
Royal photographer Arthur Edwards has claimed that Prince Harry dramatically changed after meeting Meghan Markle, which eventually led him to leave the UK. Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Live show, per Daily Express, Edwards expressed his surprise at how different Harry became once he fell in love with Meghan.
Arthur, who spent years photographing the royal family, recalled that before meeting Meghan, Harry was “so much fun” and had a friendly, approachable demeanor. “He was fun and he was surprising,” Arthur shared, adding, “He used to say, ‘I’ll do everything I can to make it good for you,’ and that’s what shocked me when he just cut us all dead, that one time up in Manchester.”
Reflecting on Harry’s sudden change, Arthur explained that it was “the day he met Meghan, or the day he fell in love with Meghan, and it’s all changed since then.” He described how Harry’s relationship with the press, and even those close to him, altered significantly after their romance began.
Arthur also recalled how Meghan herself was initially well-received, particularly in the first year of her marriage to Prince Harry. “The first year with Meghan she was fantastic. I traveled everywhere with them,” Arthur said. “She was a star, engaging with the public, doing everything you’d expect a lady married into the royal family to do.”
However, things reportedly took a sharp turn later on. “Then suddenly, everything changed. Meghan said ‘we are going,’ and that was it,” Arthur explained, referring to the couple’s decision to step back from royal duties and leave the UK.
Edwards summed up his perspective on Harry’s transformation: “And as we say, he made that decision and disappeared. That was his choice.” His comments highlight the growing belief that Meghan’s influence was a major factor in Harry’s departure from royal life, sparking ongoing debates about their choices and the impact on their relationships with the royal family.
