“South Dakota Governor Steals the Spotlight at Explosive Trump Town Hall in Savannah!”
South Dakota’s governor was in Savannah, alongside local legislatures, to stump for former President Donald Trump.
“[Kamala Harris] isn’t just crazy. She picked the craziest governor in the history of America to run with. I’m not saying that because of their personalities, they may smile and Tim Walz may make a nice midwestern guy, but the policies that they embrace are far left of Bernie Sanders,” Gov. Kristi Noem told the standing-room-only crowd.
The two-term Republican governor was also joined by Georgia Congressmen Buddy Carter and Mike Collins.
“Inflation doesn’t care what the color of your skin is, it doesn’t care anything about your ethnicity, nothing. It’s high for everyone. That’s why we’ve got to get someone back in office — we’ve got to get Donald J. Trump back in office,” Carter said.
The conservative rally comes a little more than two weeks after Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally across town at the Enmarket Arena.
“We want to get more support out there for Trump because a lot of people sometimes don’t want to show their support because Savannah has been known to be more Democrat, but we have a lot of red here in Savannah, and we are really ready to show our support,” Trump supporter Kaye Bufalini told WJCL 22.
During the town hall, Noem said a major key to victory was attracting middle-ground voters to Trump’s camp. WJCL 22 News’ Andy Cole asked the midwestern governor what her message is to those voters.
“I would tell them to focus on his policies. Look at his track record, look at what he did when he was president before and how their lives were better. They had more freedom. They got to make more decisions for their family,” Noem said.
This likely won’t be the last time we see the Trump campaign here in Georgia. On Monday, Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, will be in Atlanta alongside Gov. Brian Kemp, Alabama Sen. Katie Britt and Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.
