The investigation into the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump has intensified with new revelations and allegations, including claims that the shooter’s body may have been secretly cremated.

As reported by The Washington Times on Monday, August 26, 2024, Thomas Crooks, the 20-year-old gunman who fired on Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month, was killed by a Secret Service sniper.

The attempt left one person dead, two others injured, and Trump narrowly escaping harm.

As federal investigators delve deeper into Crooks’ background and the circumstances leading up to the attack, significant questions are emerging about the involvement of Crooks’ family.

The FBI is exploring whether Crooks’ parents were aware of their son’s plans. According to a family member who spoke to DailyMail.com, the FBI is scrutinizing the extent of the parents’ knowledge regarding their son’s intentions.

Crooks’ father, Matthew Crooks, a known gun enthusiast, had previously sold firearms to family members, adding to the investigation’s complexity.

The FBI’s search of the Crooks residence yielded a substantial cache of weaponry and other materials.

Among the items seized were 14 firearms, explosives, a second cell phone, a laptop, a hard drive, a bulletproof vest, additional magazines, and a drone.

This extensive arsenal has raised further concerns about Crooks’ preparedness and possible motivations.

In response to the ongoing investigation, the Crooks family has hired Quinn Logue, a Pittsburgh-based law firm specializing in personal injury, wrongful death, and legal malpractice.

The family’s legal representation aims to navigate the complex legal and public scrutiny following the assassination attempt.

Adding to the controversy are allegations that Crooks’ body was secretly cremated, sparking speculation about potential attempts to obscure evidence.

These claims have prompted calls for transparency and further investigation into the handling of Crooks’ remains and related evidence.

The FBI has removed 14 firearms from the Crooks home, along with explosives, a second cell phone, a laptop, and a hard drive. Crooks also had a bulletproof vest, additional magazines, and a drone in his possession.

Reports reveal that Crooks had conducted research on mass shootings and had a screenshot of Trump on his phone, suggesting he had a broader agenda beyond just targeting Trump.

The investigation continues as federal agents piece together the motives and connections behind the assassination attempt.

As the FBI probes further, the questions surrounding the Crooks family’s involvement and the handling of evidence remain critical to understanding the full scope of the attack.
