“Trump Faces Backlash for Selling ‘Spectacular’ T-Shirt Commemorating First Assassination Attempt That Killed Supporter!”
BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA: Donald Trump is facing fierce backlash after promoting a T-shirt commemorating his first assassination attempt, using the harrowing event to promote his latest merch.
The T-shirt features a bold image of the ex-president raising his fist in triumph, taken from the July incident where he was shot in the ear.
“They just came out with this T-shirt, which is pretty spectacular, and it’s selling like hotcakes,” Trump boasted in a video clip on X, seemingly unfazed by the tragedy the image represents. The T-shirts are listed for $35 on the official Trump-Vance campaign merch website.

Trump survives assassination attempt by inches
On Saturday, July 13, as Donald Trump spoke at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a gunman fired at the former president, grazing his ear.
The attacker, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was killed by Secret Service snipers. The incident resulted in the tragic death of a volunteer firefighter Corey Comperatore and left two others gravely injured.
“[The bullet impact] was far enough away from [Trump’s] head that there was no concussive effect from the bullet,” Dr Ronny Jackson, his physician, detailed the injury. “And it just took the top of his ear off. A little bit of the top of his ear off as it passed through. It was bleeding like crazy because the ear is pretty vascular and bleeds pretty badly,” he said on ‘The Benny Show’ podcast, per OK!
“I bandaged it up pretty good this morning…it’s not a clean laceration like you’d have with a knife or a blade….it’s easy to bleed again. If you mess with it, it starts bleeding again. We’ve got it dressed up.”
Trump credits divine intervention for survival
Despite the gravity of the incident, Trump downplayed its impact on his life, claiming he hasn’t experienced flashbacks or sought counseling. “I have not had any, I must tell you,” he said of the incident. “I don’t think about it a lot. It healed up.”
“And you know what I’d love to think, I would love to think it’s God, and it’s God doing it because he wants to save America. He sees what’s happening. God sees what’s happening in America. We’re going bad as a country. Even with religion, we’re going bad. You look at the charts, and I would like to say that it is God that saved me. It wasn’t just just luck, but the reason would be that he saved me, because I could save this country. I hope that’s right,” Trump stated.
Trump survives 2nd assassination attempt
Recently, Donald Trump survived his second assassination attempt on Sunday, September 15. As per authorities, the alleged gunman, Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, pointed an AK-47-style rifle through a chain-link fence at Donald Trump, who was playing golf at the Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach and was “intent on filming” the attack using a GoPro mounted on the fence.
He fled in an SUV when a Secret Service agent opened fire after spotting the muzzle of his rifle protruding from the tree line at the perimeter of the course. However, a witness took photos of his vehicle and its license plate, which helped authorities track down the suspect and take him into custody.
