Trump Finally Breaks Silence With a Lengthy Message After Suffering a Major Blow in Jack Smith Case

Former President Donald Trump has finally responded after facing a significant legal setback. He launched a scathing attack on Special Counsel Jack Smith, labeling him “deranged” and accusing him of unprecedented election interference.

According to the post shared on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, this outburst follows yet another indictment against Trump in Washington, D.C., a move he argues is a deliberate attempt to sabotage his 2024 presidential campaign.

The indictment, according to Trump and his allies, is rife with legal flaws and represents a desperate attempt by the establishment to silence him.

The charges allege that Trump’s actions during a rally were not “official acts” because the event was privately organized and funded.

Prosecutors have even argued that Trump’s use of his social media accounts, such as Twitter (now known as X), was for personal purposes, further complicating the legal landscape.

The timing of this latest legal action has raised eyebrows, with a status report due by August 30 and a conference scheduled for September 5.

Trump and his supporters claim that these dates are strategically set to disrupt his campaign efforts as he gears up for the election.

In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump expressed his outrage, calling the indictment a “ridiculous” and “illegal” assault on democracy.

He criticized Jack Smith for what he sees as an attempt to revive a “dead” investigation, asserting that the new charges are just as flawed as the previous ones and should be dismissed immediately.

Trump also highlighted that his legal team had informed him that bringing cases right before an election is against the law, viewing this as a direct attack on the democratic process.

Trump’s response extends beyond the legal accusations. He pointed to a range of issues he believes are being ignored in favor of this legal battle, including the border crisis, inflation, and the looming threat of World War III.

He also accused the Department of Justice (DOJ) of violating its own policy by taking action that could influence an election within 60 days of voting, noting that voting begins on September 6.

Further, Trump mentioned Mark Zuckerberg’s recent admission regarding the suppression of information related to Hunter Biden’s laptop during the 2020 election, which he claims is evidence of election manipulation and interference by the DOJ.

Trump concluded his message by warning that this is the most significant attempt to undermine democracy in history.

He accused the DOJ of being weaponized by his political opponents, specifically targeting Vice President Kamala Harris, and vowed that these “scams” would ultimately fail.

He reaffirmed his commitment to winning what he describes as the most important election in U.S. history on November 5th, urging his supporters to continue the fight to “Make America Great Again.”o kk
