Trump Proclaimed “Black” “Jew” At the White House Yesterday

It’s another Onion-esque headline today, folks. A lot of strange things go on at the White House. Donald Trump sees his way clear to insult governors of states to their faces while misstating federal law, and he has a wife that shows up about once a month when she absolutely has to show her face.
Thursday was one of those days, when Melania had to pretend to be a Devoted Spouse, and attend the Governors Dinner. Right after that she took her jet back to New York. I guess it’s because Barron is still in school, only this time it’s college. But the most interesting thing that happened is Kimberly Brown, daughter of football player Jim Brown, was there to talk about Black History Month, and oh mama, did that derail bigly.
Um….it’s 2,000 years, not three, since the Prince Of Peace walked the earth. Secondly, the idea that Trump is Black or Jewish or in any way related to King David is just plain batshit.
By stating that Trump’s soul is Black while explaining away his white skin color, Brown is basically saying Trump is Black while offering an explanation for his appearance. The suggestion is extremely problematic and wrong.
First of all, it’s only been approximately 2,000 years since Jesus preached on the shores of Galilee. Second, Trump, who settled a discrimination suit for not renting to Black people, comes from German roots on his father’s side and Scottish roots on his mother’s side.
No, Trump isn’t Black, nor is he Hebrew or a descendant of King David. Black History Month is meant to honor the contributions and struggles of Black Americans, not to push bizarre narratives that attempt to tie Trump to ancient Hebrew ancestry.
The fact that Brown, who endorsed Trump at his November 2024 Pittsburgh rally while wearing a jersey of her father Jim Brown, was invited by what amounted to a pro-Trump, mini-rally inside the White House reveals a broader pattern of the kind of absurd Trump loyalists his team invites to these functions. Rewriting history to paint the former president as a kingly, divine, or a messianic figure is off the rails.
Instead of celebrating the rich legacy of Black Americans, this White House event became yet another stage for misinformation and political spectacle.
That is what we promised you folks, spectacle. It’s the one guarantee I know I can make, that this administration will be sheer, deranged, gawdy spectacle. And expensive. This administration will exact a price tag like no other. Between Trump and his billionaire bros grifting, getting tax cuts, laying people off, and laying siege to government, this is going to be one costly production.
