Trump Sees Kim Jong Un’s “Condo Capability” As Key, Not Nuclear

Here we are on Day Two of this fiasco known as his second administration and Donald Trump is zooming out further and further towards the outer limits of sanity. Trump was busy today signing executive orders and releasing convicted felons out into the world — which makes a great deal of sense. If anybody thinks the rule of law is a nuisance and a farce it’s Mr. 34 Convictions himself. And then Trump really went off point.

This made the news in the Israeli papers.

U.S. President Donald Trump discussed on Monday the potential of Gaza reconstruction in terms of its natural assets, praising the location and weather while neglecting to detail any vision for U.S. involvement in steering post-war planning.

“I looked at a picture of Gaza, it’s like a massive demolition site. It’s really … it’s gotta be rebuilt in a different way. Gaza’s interesting, it’s a phenomenal location. On the sea, the best weather. Everything’s good. Some beautiful things can be done with it. It’s very interesting. Some fantastic things can be done with it,” he told reporters while signing executive orders in the Oval Office.

Trump’s remarks echo comments from his son-in-law Jared Kushner, who previously described Gaza’s waterfront property as “very valuable” while suggesting Israel should remove Palestinian civilians from Gaza while it “cleans up” the territory.

This is this idiot’s worldview. He’s oblivious to the misery that has happened in this region. It’s all a cartoon to him because he’s totally tuned out from reality — other than to speculate on how great a few high rises would be. To him everything is real estate. Whereas other leaders look at the moon and see military strategy, Trump says, “There’s no ocean front property. Total dump,” and that’s the end of that subject.

And it makes perfect sense that his idiot son-in-law also thinks this way. This is a guy who went looking on Amazon for people who had written books on various topics when Trump was staffing his first administration and naming people to his cabinet. Jared boasted how he had “read 25 books on Israel” and that made him an “expert” on the Israeli/Palestine conflict.

Reading 25 books on childcare doesn’t make you a parent, let’s just say that much. Reading 25 books on sports doesn’t make you an Olympic athlete. But only Jared is stupid enough to imply such a thing — and boastingly so. But this is Trumpworld, Take II. It’s a lot more idiotic than Trumpworld Take I. Obama was right. The sequel is always worse. Here’s more if you can stand it.

He’s confusing it again with H-2B but the bottom line was written by a tweeter downthread, “If there was ever any question of who exactly this benefits, I guess that question’s been answered. H-1B benefits billionaires and causes wage suppression for the little guy. Period.” That’s it. And the little guys think this asshole is looking out for them. No. He doesn’t care if the MAGAs live or die. He just wants their money — and their vote. Now that he’s done with that, he just wants the money.

I think what the paradox here is is that MAGA sees Trump as one of them because he’s an idiot. So they identify with him and they love him. But what they don’t get is that if he wasn’t born to immense wealth, he probably would be a school crossing guard or something basic. The man has no brains.

But that part of it they don’t get. And that’s because of television. Fourteen years of in kind campaign contributions from The Apprentice put this asshole into national politics.

May this be a one off and not the future of American politics or I don’t know what we do.
