Trumpty Raging At Jared Polis To Take Down “Purposely Distorted” Portrait, Other Enemies Of the State

The first story that sailed through about Donald Trump venting his spleen on Truth Social tonight I ignored. He’s always insulting somebody, that’s scarcely news. But within the hour, Trumpty lashed out at yet another group of enemies.

And then there was a third complaint.  So Trump’s off on one of his meltdowns, it looks like. Unless Susie manages to wrestle the phone away from him and get him to take his meds. The first salvo was at George Clooney.

Clooney won an Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA, the Cecil B. DeMille Award and AFI Life Achievement award and those are not doled out to second rate actors. Sorry Donald, they simply are not. But then the rest of the post is about 60 Minutes and then he gets back to trashing Clooney.

The only reason I can think of is that Clooney sees him for what he is and has told people that Trump is the kind of guy that would approach him in a bar and try to appear quite the bon vivant with the women.

Truth be known, Trump would love it if Clooney was his pal and in his camp. Not to be, Donald. So evidently while he was stewing over that, something else got him riled to go after the New York Times. Again.

I have a theory about this one. I think that Trump is still stewing over Thursday’s New York Times bombshell, about Elon Musk going to the Pentagon to go over war plans against China, should such a day arrive. Peter Baker’s name wasn’t on that piece, but Baker is the Chief White House correspondent for the Times and in that capacity has written about Trump (and five presidents before him) extensively.

Evidently Donald doesn’t like Mr. Baker. Maybe he’ll soon by banished by Karoline from the press briefing room. Or, maybe he’ll be allowed in but never called on. The cruelty is the point, you see. Trump wants everybody to know he is the lord and master.

And then there was this. Maybe this is what really piqued Donald and once he became angry, then it all spilled over on the New York Tiemes and George Clooney.

It’s not the most flattering portrait but it does look like him. I guess the artist should have used Trump’s mugshot as a model and painted him from that. Trump loves his mugshot. He has a mad gleam in his eyes, which makes him look insane, but Trump sees that as dashing and cavalier. Or something. Here’s what Trump thinks he looks like.

Bottom line, Trump doesn’t want people to paint him as he is, but as he would like to believe himself to be. That’s where the portrait artist erred, she didn’t go out of her way to glamorize Trump and now he’s pissed.

In any event, it’s another hot time in the ongoing love affair with Donald and his phone. Evidently Elon isn’t there playing with cutlery and don’t even ask where Melania is. If Trump’s in Florida, she’s in New York. Plain and simple.
