“You Have to End it” Fuming Trump Sends Tough Message to Judges in Rage-filled Late Night Rant
Former President Donald Trump has expressed intense anger over his recent conviction on 34 felony counts, particularly following Hunter Biden’s guilty verdict on three felony gun charges earlier that day. Last month, Trump was convicted of falsifying business records to hide crimes, including violations of campaign finance laws.
In a late-night post on Truth Social on Tuesday, June 11, he directed his anger toward the prosecutor, labeling the charges as politically motivated. “Corrupt Soros backed Manhattan D.A., Alvin Bragg, at the direction of Crooked Joe Biden and his DOJ, has always known that there was NO CRIME in the Case he filed against me,” Trump wrote.
“He didn’t even want to bring this ‘Zombie Case,’ but when forced to attack me for Election Interference purposes, Bragg attempted to make it look as bad as possible by ‘stacking the counts’ – A TOTAL SCAM.” Prosecutors contended that Trump falsified business records to hide reimbursements to his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, for hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
These payments were intended to keep their sexual relationship secret from voters during the election. Trump claimed the charges were baseless, arguing that the payments were legitimate legal expenses. “The reality is that the whole Hoax is just about Legal Expenses being paid and marked as….Legal Expenses,” he posted.
“Instead, the Prosecutors made up 34 counts out of 11 Checks, 11 Invoices, and 12 Entries by a highly respected bookkeeper in a Ledger. Even the Invoices said, ‘Legal Retainer.’ Why? Because that’s what it was, a payment to a then-fully accredited lawyer.” He added that he did nothing wrong and appellate court judges must intervene by undoing his conviction and ending the alleged witch hunt against him.
“Nothing illegal, no ‘conspiracies.’ THE APPELLATE COURTS HAVE TO END THIS WITCH HUNT AGAINST A POLITICAL OPPONENT!” In 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations related to the payment to Daniels and other crimes connected to his work for Trump.
Prosecutors provided evidence suggesting Trump was aware of the hush money payment, viewing it as part of a larger conspiracy to withhold damaging information from voters, improperly reported as campaign expenses. Allen Weisselberg, the bookkeeper who recorded these invoices, pleaded guilty in 2022 to 15 criminal charges, including grand larceny, criminal tax fraud, and falsifying business records.
He was sentenced to five months in jail. Weisselberg was permanently banned in February from financial control roles in any New York business and admitted in April to lying under oath while testifying for Trump in a civil fraud case. This case led to a $455 million penalty against Trump, who remains the leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination.
